Meet Chelsey Laine
For more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of helping individuals, families, and investors achieve one of life's biggest milestones—homeownership.
My journey in the mortgage industry began at just 17 years old alongside my best friend from high school, Stacey King. What started as two ambitious teenagers learning the business evolved into a lifelong career built on trust, education, and relationships. Together, we founded our brokerage with a simple mission: to provide honest guidance, creative financing solutions, and an exceptional client experience.
Throughout my career, I've also been a single mother for more than 20 years, balancing the demands of building a business while raising my children, prioritizing fitness and wellness, and staying present for every important moment. That experience shaped the way I serve my clients—with empathy, determination, and the understanding that every financial decision impacts a family's future.
Today, with my children grown, I split my time between Colorado and Florida, proudly helping clients purchase, refinance, and invest in real estate in both states. In addition to leading a mortgage brokerage, I also own an insurance brokerage in Colorado, allowing me to provide a well-rounded perspective on protecting both homes and financial futures.
Many people know me as @thehomebuyingmentor, a platform where I educate and empower first-time homebuyers, single parents, and real estate investors to navigate the lending process with confidence. I believe homeownership should feel achievable, not overwhelming, and I'm passionate about simplifying complex financing options into clear, actionable guidance.
